The Barrel Stave Shot Oregon Oak Edition I - Premium Select (.75 ounces)

What is STĀV?
STĀV was born from the cooperage floor — not the marketing room. Built by a master cooper (barrel maker) with a background in commercial barrel manufacturing, STĀV brings professional-grade oak craftsmanship directly to the consumer. Every piece is shaped with the same attention to grain, toast, char, and character once reserved for the barrel industry alone.

Edition I-Premium Select
Shop NowThe highest visual standard within the cooperage.
Crafted from air-seasoned Oregon oak aged a minimum of three years, Premium Select represents the rarest expression of the stave — clean grain, balanced structure, and minimal visual variation. In traditional barrel making, this level of selection is uncommon and increasingly unsustainable at scale.
The Phoenix marks the resilience of Oregon oak itself — shaped by time, weather, fire, and survival.
Premium Select honors the material at its purest form.

Editon II-Proof
Proof honors the working reality of cooperage.
As oak naturally seasons and shrinks, every stave settles differently. While structurally excellent, some pieces reveal subtle evidence of the milling and finishing process — exposed grain, tonal shifts, or areas where the original stave surface remains visible along the taper of the cut.
Rather than removing more material to chase cosmetic uniformity, STAV preserves these marks as proof of the craft itself.
Named after the cooper’s cradle — the traditional stand where barrel heads and bodies are joined by hand — this edition represents skill, restraint, and respect for the oak.
No disguise.
No compensation.
Only honest craftsmanship. -
Edition III-Balance
Balance is the rarest edition within the Oregon Oak series.
Created from visually unconventional staves traditionally rejected in commercial cooperage, these pieces carry wandering grain, mineral color variation, knots, movement, and asymmetry impossible to reproduce. Though often discarded by industrial standards, they remain structurally sound and deeply expressive.
The anvil represents endurance within the workshop — scarred, weathered, and essential to the whole.
Balance embraces the belief that character is not found in perfection, but in use, pressure, adaptation, and time.
Each piece is singular.
Wabi-sabi in cooperage form.
